The Yoga Sutras is a foundational text compiled around 2,000 years ago. It is a collection of 196 short aphorisms, or “sutras,” systematizing the theory and practice of yoga as a path to enlightenment.
Rather than just a physical practice, the Yoga Sutras describe yoga as a method for stilling the mind and realizing one’s true nature.
